This painting of Louie was commissioned as a tribute to this beloved dog. Thoughtfully crafted to capture his essence and later presented to his owner, who had lost his good friend.

The intention was to keep the final finish of the painting loose and to inject some color to avoid the typical browns and blacks that are standard for this dogs breed.
